About this Table

NPS to DN chart for steel pipe, with the actual outside diameter in mm and inches for each size.

Basis: ISO 6708 DN designations and ASME B36.10M / B36.19M outside diameters.

How to use

  1. Find NPS in inches and read the DN.
  2. Use the OD for clamp on meters, flange and fitting selection.
  3. DN is a label; it is not the bore.

Notes

  • From NPS 14 the OD in inches equals the NPS.
  • EN 10255 and some metric tube systems use different ODs for the same DN.
