About the Vendor Document Register

Late vendor document reviews delay manufacturing and delivery. A register with due dates and status makes review backlogs visible.

How to fill in this template

  1. Set the review period agreed in the PO.
  2. Log each document when received, with revision.
  3. Enter the review code and return date when the review is sent back.
  4. Watch OVERDUE items in progress meetings.
  5. Resubmissions get a new row with the new revision.

What the formulas do

  • Return due = received + review period.
  • Status: Returned, OVERDUE if past due, otherwise In review.
